Canine Kart's Donation
This beautiful girl is Misty. She has been in BARC’s care for a lot of her life. Misty has no back legs but despite this she is a strong girl who still loves life and cuddles!
Today we helped train Misty to use her wheelchair that was generously donated by@caninekarts🙏🏽 canine karts also donated a second chair to little Yoga who has no use of his back legs. This will help take so much pressure off their lower backs ❤️
Thoughtful donations like this will never be forgotten.
Dog Handler Training Bali
Pink Paw Program visits Bali to meet and train with some of Bali’s dog handlers who spend their time rescuing and caring for the animals in need.
Most people do not give the dogs behaviour lessons or training so when they misbehave for example, bark, jump, bite, kill chickens or do not do a good job guarding, the dogs are abandoned and left to the streets where survival is a mission of its own.
This is not easy for a dog. They easily catch mange and other skin problems and become severely underweight. There chances for survival are not great.
Our mission is to train the volunteers, so when the dogs come into rescue care they will have some basic training skills to help them find their new home.
Therapy Dog Training Interview
I had a great time meeting with Kamila and Archie today. Kamila shared her wonderful story on how her rescue dog helped her over come anxiety and PTSD.
I have worked with Kamila and Archie for about 6 months now and we have built a wonderful friendship during our dog training sessions together.
I am so proud of the effort Kamila and her partner have put into training Archie. And with this he has become a beautiful, well behaved, obedient companion and therapy dog ❤️ We will have the full story coming to you soon 🐾
